Cahermore National School is a small school in the Allihies Parish on the Western tip of the Beara Peninsula. The school was built in 1979 following the amalgamation of three local schools; Cahermore NS, Lehanmore NS, and Cluin NS (Allihies Village).
We now have three classroom teachers in the school; Mr. Padraig O'Sullivan (Principal) teaching 4th, 5th and 6th classes, Ms Elsa O'Regan teaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes and Mrs. Nuala O'Neill teaching Junior Infants and Senior Infants. Mrs Siobhan O'Driscoll (Deputy Principal) is our Special Education Teacher. Mrs. Tracy Harrington & Ms. Sarah Harrington are our SNAs at the school.
